What a Year

2020 what a year
A point in time that bloomed in fear
No, it’s not a time to cheer
And answers are not found in beer

Instead, Universal faith is here
Take the wheel and start to steer
Finding love straight or queer

Drawing peace and making clear
Remembering others far and near
We must do more than sit and leer
Like headlights facing down a deer

Get off your butt put mind in gear
Listen more with heart than ear
Go beyond a mocking jeer
You are worthy more than mere

Life can take a sudden veer
Look not in the window rear
Your 3rd-Eye can peacefully peer
And it’s OK to drop a tear

It matters not your own career
But craving kindness must appear
