ANXIETY/DEPRESSION
Basepoint Breakthrough
https://basepointbreakthrough.com/blog/find-the-right-therapist/
21.6 million adults reported moderate to severe symptoms of anxiety and depression. However, 39% of these people did not receive treatment due to the staggering costs of mental health care. BIPOC, LGBTQ+, low-income, rural, or disabled communities have the worst experience when it comes to lack of access. Discrimination, stigma, language barriers, and other issues prevent them from having quality treatment. Our team came up with a comprehensive resource on finding the right therapist for the underserved individuals. This aims to help minorities, LGBTQ+ members, low-income families, and disabled people find culturally competent mental health care.
